I know exactly what you are thinking, "Oh does he now." If I was correct then awesome and if not then eh I guess it was worth a shot. There are two things I want to address in this blog: Templates and Zombies.
The first one is pretty straight forward. I decided to used one of Blogger's new templates. It has a little side bar and stuff. There were a couple of options, but up at the top there is an option to switch between a couple of the different dynamic views that Blogger has added. I liked the Mosaic option but I think that it makes the front page seemed cluttered.
Zombies are an interesting topic. I was recently told that there is a college that has an official zombie emergency plan in place. I can't blame them. There was a time when zombies seemed as far fetched as mobile computer, but then the laptop was invented. So, I mean, anything is possible. What brought this up as a topic is a text I received from a friend the other morning. I was groggily waking up one morning when I looked at my phone and a friend who lived in the room next door had texted me in the night. I opened it up and it said, "Hey man I think there are zombies outside."
How am I supposed to respond to that! It sort of freaked me out because of how taken back I was. So, I started thinking how would I respond in a zombie assault. A couple of questions arose as I considered different options. A big question I had to think of was should we go hoard food first. My thoughts are that the group of people I will be grouping up with will eventually need food. We can't last forever with the little sustenance we have in our dorm. So, should we wait to go get the food once we need it or go right away? Who goes? Should everyone go or is the buddy system the default for a situation like this? I feel that we should go get as much food as possible right away, the fastest and strongest should go, and I think there should be some who stay back. What if the scavengers end up getting surrounded and all dying trying to get food? Then at least there are some survivors. Also the scavengers need to be fast on the chance they do need to run away and strong so that they are able to carry ample amount of supplies. The advantage to going early in the zombie onslaught is that there are fewer zombies giving you a number advantage in comparison to later.
