So, I was discussing and issue with my mother about something. I don't even remember what it was, but I do remember that it was something that wasn't my "cup of tea". The first phrase I wanted to use though was that I "wouldn't be caught dead" at this place/event. However, like most children I think before I speak...sometimes. I caught myself and pondered. This left an awkward moment in the conversation where I should've responded, but I felt like what I was doing was more important.
Wouldn't be caught dead is a phrase you hear often enough. When analyzed though, it doesn't seem all that logical. For example, if I asked you to go to the local pawn shop and you said you wouldn't be caught dead there it's not like I am asking you to kill yourself first. I mean I don't want a suicide on my hands for an easy errand. And that's where the phrase loses credibility. So, with that I will end this post with a list of acceptable places/events to use the phrase "I wouldn't be caught dead" at.
-Funeral
-Funeral Home
-Anywhere post apocalypse
-Zombie hangout
-Graveyard
-Any location that has a murderer
There are probably more, but that's all I have for you today.
