Skyrim Alchemy

GOTY or in other terms, Game of the Year.  Skyrim is a great game and has taken up a lot of my life.  http://skyrim.iamnoah.com/  Here is a tool that I often use for alchemy help.  It lets you type in an ingredient and shows you what you can add with it to create specific potions.

I love this video. Not only because I am from Iowa, but because it is so blunt about how people perceive Iowa. It seems like everyone of my friends in Iowa is sharing the video, but it is one of the few things spammed on Facebook that I don't mind.

Jackie Chan Adventures

A friend, a week or so ago, informed me that Jackie Chan Adventures was on Netflix.  This is a huge reason why I love Netflix.  I have been able to watch many shows, from the past, straight through on the Netflix's instant streaming.  Now even though there are a lot of shows that I enjoy on Netflix, I wish that they featured a few more.  Sometimes I'll be searching on Netflix and think of a really cool show or movie that I want to watch and then I'll find out that its not on Netflix.  For instance,  I wouldn't mind reliving my childhood by watching the original Pokemon series.  Also, my roommate and I really wanted to watch Pulp Fiction one day and it wasn't there. Pulp Fiction is a classic! I was very saddened to find out it wasn't on there.  Netflix please update your database of online streaming faster!


Also, wasn't really sure if capitalizing the names of the television shows I mentioned in the previous paragraph would fulfill the rules of English, so thats why they are italicized.

Recently the Catholic world has been shaken up.  This is the truth at least in America, and by recent I mean that it happened a few weeks ago.  There are a couple of different things that the overall change to the American Catholic mass system has resulted on, but there is one that I particularly noticed during last week's Christmas Mass.

1) Those who know to use the new wording.
2) Those who forget to the new wording then quickly try to correct themselves.
3) Those who choose not to use the new wording.

In addition, there are also sub-types.  There are those that know to use the new wording, but they grumble through it with dissatisfaction which in turn is basically like them choosing to not use the new wording.  I am a member of the second group.  I remember that there is new wording, I know that there is a card in my pew that contains the exact wording, but I sometimes just go with the flow and forget.  

Regardless, this has opened my eyes to how accustomed I have gotten to certain expectations of mass.  I got so used to saying the words that I became content.  In retrospect I was merely repeating a process that I had been used to performing for years.  This change has allowed me to focus more on what I was saying.  It allowed me to focus more on the wording and process and in turn the mass has become so much more for me. 

There are those who wish things wouldn't have changed, but I am not one of them.  This change has highlighted how ingrained the wording was previously, and has allowed me to appreciate the mass even more. 

Star Wars

On a side note: Can vampires shave?  Big Bang Theory raised this question during season 4.  If a vampire can't see itself in the mirror then how does the vampire know if it needs to shave or missed a spot while shaving.  I assume that the vampires just have to best guess it.  It would be even better if one of the special abilities that vampires possess is an unnatural ability to shave with their eyes closed.

Unanswered Questions

There is one question that I don't feel has been answered.  There just doesn't seem to be any concrete results or data to support any theories.  The question I am referring to is, "Who let the dogs out?"
