December rolls around. People flip their calenders, weathermen start predicting heavy down pours of snow, and the mercury falls. The first snow falls. It's pretty and every gets distracted by it's awe. THEN IT KEEPS COMING DOWN. In due time it seems endless. You begin to wonder if there is any color but white.
Snow is great. Don't get me wrong, but my only issue is that it becomes a hassle. The roads ice over and school gets cancelled resulting in school during the summer. Which is cool at the time but if it accumulates then it's not fun.
The roads also become icy. Which results in people ether becoming cautious or reckless. The reckless become the minority, yet still really annoying and a huge hassle. Seriously, how do these people not realize that their driving might be an issue with all of the weather conditions. It's not like they haven't grown up and if they haven't can't they realize instantly that they might be prone to sliding. The snow truly limits what you can do outside which means the children must stay inside! The worst nightmare of parents! All the kids having to be inside means that they will eventually bug each other and break out into a good ol' classic sibling rivalry throw down! Free entertainment.
I don't know. Winter is nice, but it truly wears on me and I can't take it. The snow came late this season so maybe I'll be able to last longer but I doubt it. This will just result in ether more time playing soccer indoors or video games in my personal asylum.

The daunting little things
There are minor chores that all children do. Some chores are specific to certain households so some children never get to experience others while others seem universal. Most children have to pick up after themselves while not all have to rearrange spice drawers chronologically. The daunting task of putting my clothes away, however, never ceases to help me find a way to procrastinate.
Putting clean laundry into drawers designated for organization purposes isn't a tough task. People with the lowest ACT scores find themselves as equals to people with 36's when it comes down to this. The complexity comes from how organized the person wants to be.
So, putting away laundry is simple. Then why do I find it so hard to do it? I would much rather just keep all of my laundry in a laundry basket and pick it out when I need it, and put it away when I feel it's necessary. This method doesn't sound bad. This method doesn't always follow the laundry schedule. As long as more laundry needs to be done I will need to be able to provide a basket for my mother to put it in. I need to supply the basket because if my mom is willing to do such a nice thing for me then I should be able to help.
Well, there is no straight answer. Just a basket leaves me wondering if I should just suck it up or deal with this daunting task of putting away laundry. There is no answer, and I think that procrastination will once again succeed.

Good ol' text messaging
I enjoy texting or txting as some call it. The ability to discuss things with people using words and taking no time to travel great distances? GREAT! However, it doesn't allow you to capture the full spectrum of human expression.
The creation of smiley faces :) and frowny faces :( spurred a revolution. The creation of the tongue sticking out face , :P , to express humor or the poking of fun and many more have helped us to correctly convey what we are trying to say. Sorry, I mean type.
My only issue is that there is no commonly used expression of texting characters to convey sarcasm. I often speak using and underlying sarcasm that those closest to me pick up on, but since I utilize it in the same tone and wording that I typically use it is hard to always tell. This becomes an issue when texting because there are give aways that I am using sarcasm. I have been asked many times if I was being sarcastic through a text, and the only way that people are sure is what I respond using a hyperbole or satire.
Well, technology advances quickly so maybe soon it will be common for audio texts or visual text messages where you send an audio or video recording of yourself. This would quickly eliminate some of my issues, however, it may create more.

Snowflake Conundrum
I remember, as a young lad, watching the powdery white snow drift down lazily from the sky. The shock and aw that the first snow utilized was flawless. Youth would stare and just wonder at this natural phenomena. The adults would then claim that each was unique. UNIQUE? There have been billion of snowflakes, and you expect me to believe that each is unique? That's how they get you. At such a young age, the kids believe that this is possible. You almost don't even realize the statement. The statement that every snowflake in the world could not have a counterpart is taken as fact without thought. This can not be true. My conjecture is that there is no possible way for every snowflake ever to have an individual design. There are only so many possible options.

Last Minute Genius
I can not promote procrastination. That'd be wrong. Some things need to be done immediately otherwise their quality is unsatisfactory. However, in some instances procrastination leads to great accomplishments. Waiting until the last moment has forced my brain to release phenomenal ideas. Many papers and assignments that were done in the last minute turned out great. Now there are many people who are avid fans of not waiting. "Oh let's get it done now and play later". It is for these people that I say
"POPPYCOCK!"
Play now! When you start on a project too soon you often think about it too much! That leads to multiple ideas and second guessing yourself. If you wait till the last minute you don't have time to second guess yourself which leads to brilliant work! Most of the time... Now I will admit that you shouldn't always wait till the last minute. Some things take research and time that waiting will not allow. It is a decision that you need to decide before you start an assignment or project. Can you do tomorrow, what could be done today?
