Really thin pancakes

I love crepes. I figured I would jump straight to the summary of this blog. Crepes are delectable.

Since there is no school for those of us who have graduated I have had some extra time on my hands. So Gabe, Chuck and I decided that we when go to our school's french room and just make a whole mess of crepes. We set up shop in the back of the room and made crepes for a good hour.

Our topping variety included cherries, strawberries, apple pie filling, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup. We made crepes for anyone who asked we got to see many different types of crepe lovers. Some preferred to have desert crepes with only sweeter options while others chose a fruity direction. This just credits the crepe for its versatility. The options seem almost endless. Which is why crepes have such a large appeal.

*The crepe pictured above is the result of one youth's desire for an eclectic crepe.*

Daily Pickaxe - 4

Progress is booming! With graduation this past weekend it means there will be more free time to craft, and we will be able to further expand our town. This first picture on the right is dylandejong's most recent work. He decided to redo his downtown abode. He has added a lot more detail and completely changed his design.

The next image is the most recent building on the server. It is the town's city hall. The walls have gone up and the ceiling is finished, but it still needs furnished. The ceiling seems simple but the corners are more detailed that it seems. There will be more updates on this building soon.

This third picture is dreary lane. There has been a need for the expansion of the town. So, Dreary lane was created. There are four houses so far on Dreary Lane. The first three are the three little pigs houses. A house of sticks, a house of stone, and a house bricks for each individual pig. The final picture is the fourth house on Dreary Lane. This house, of course, belongs to the Muffin Man. My rendition of what I think the Muffin Man would live in. A more modern design. It is furnished with a waterfall inside. You can see from the picture that the ceiling is made from gold, and that there is a fountain in the front yard.

Cat People - 2

People who enjoy the company of cats should not buy skinny cats. Skinny cats have the option of running away. They also may be athletic cats who will easily evade the owner. Those cat people need the love of their cats. They will easily be discourage by cats who run away. Sadly enough their only option is to buy fatter cats. That way they will be able to pick them up and the cats won't be able to run away.

Daily Pickaxe-3

* Sorry for the lack of Daily Pickaxes...Uhhh life sometimes gets in the way *

The server has had dramatic changes in the recent week. The soccer field is almost finished aside from on goal's netting. I needed a new task. Something prodigious that would cement my legacy. I originally just started building a couple small things. For example an underwater house and a graveyard. Then it hit me. A lumberjack! A most glorious lumberjack who would watch over the server with a careful eye. Work started immediately, and Chuck offered his expertise. It wasn't long before this project attracted everyone on the server. Chuck and I worked on the lumberjack while a village began. Now a giant lumberjack sits upon the center of a township. This ever expanding town will continue to grow as everyone adds their own style and creativity to it.

Cat People (1)

It has been a while since I have updated my blog. For those who follow me, very few, I apologize. Many just check in occasionally so I don't see it as a huge issue.

People who have a lot of cats and aren't very social have adapted the stereotype of a cat person. This is very misleading. Shouldn't a cat person have whiskers or a tail at the very least? Hasn't America learned anything about misplaced adjectives! I mean come on. This is a serious issue. I think of a human-cat hybrid when you say cat person. Possible other terms for these people are: cat likers, those who enjoy cats, or even people who have to make friends with other species. All of those options are pretty long, so I can understand why America hasn't formally adopted one yet, but I think it is only a matter of time!
