DECEPTION

First of all, I still haven't seen Inception. It is February 13, 2011 and Max Holle still hasn't seen the movie Inception. No desire. Everyone talked it up so much that it is ruined for me. Thanks guys.

Second, coloring can throw you off. I grabbed a Jello cup out of the fridge. The Jello was red, so I grabbed a spoon and dug in. Little did I know that it was a banana Jello cup! Come on! Seriously? We have become so accustomed to colors. Just by the color of most foods people can predict their taste. Is that fair? Should I be mad that this Jello cup surprised me? YES. COME ON! It isn't even a good flavor. In hind sight the flavor's name is tropical berry, but it has a heavy banana flavoring if I do say so myself. Which I do.

Super Bowl and Super Heros

It's the big day. Two teams have prepared all season for this moment. A chance to get another ring, and probably some sort of bonus check. The thing is, there are so many people who watch the super bowl with no opinion or preference as to who wins. These people are a mix of fans whose teams didn't make it, gregarious people, and people who like commercials. Regardless, they will all watch this game.

I fit best into the gregarious category, however I also enjoy most commercials. I couldn't care less who wins today. I couldn't care less about professional football as a whole. I have my favorite teams, but I don't follow them through their struggles and victories. I do enjoy hanging out with other people, and watching new commercials. The camaraderie of Super Bowl parties are my favorite part. The aspect of eating fattening foods and conversing with peers attracts me to Super Bowl parties.

Besides the food, I am hoping to see an extraordinarily great commercial for the Captain America: The First Avenger movie and the THOR movie. This movie, starring Chris Evans, I hope will be great. I love Captain America as a character and I am happy that he is getting a movie for the eventual Avengers film. However, with any movie there is a chance of failure. It just seems like this chance is greatly increased with super hero movies. In recent years there have been super hero movies that have broken this trend. For example, Iron Man and the Dark Knight.

Thor has also always held a place in my heart. This Norse god is an admirable character. I only hope that I am not blinded by my love for these characters. I don't want to walk into the movie theater expecting a great movie, and then allowing stubbornness to not allow me to truly view it. I have a friend who does this movies he loves, and it can be very annoy. He refuses to agree that a movie is terrible if one of his favorite characters is in it.

This was a long blog post. Tried to cover a variety of things I guess. Well I hope those who want to enjoy the game do. I will be enjoying the commercials and food. Also, don't be one of those guys refuses to see a movie for what it truly is.

Cliche Bank Names

Cliche is defined as an overused expression of idea. A lot of classic sayings have become cliche due to popularity. One cliche, that no one really thinks of, is around due to our banks.
Just a thought:
As I drive down the main street in town. I pass by many wonderful banking opportunities. It doesn't take long to see the commonality. YOU WERE THE FIRST. Banks have this annoying habit of throwing in the word, "First" in their titles. It isn't something that a lot of people notice. It just seems common. However, this makes me really curious how many other banks are trying to name themselves the same thing? There is one bank, however, that jumped the gun. It didn't even wait for there to be a first or second. I am of course talking about the Fifth Third Bank.

The Fifth Third Bank waits for no one! Every time I see one of these Fifth Third Banks I chuckle. I can't contain myself. It's name sort of indicates that there were four other third banks before it. Fifth Third Bank could just be called the 7th first bank.
